At Intent AI, we respect your privacy and are committed to providing transparency and control over your personal data. This page explains your rights under various privacy regulations and how to exercise them.

Your rights may vary depending on your location and the applicable laws. We honor all rights granted by applicable privacy laws, regardless of where you are located.

GDPR Rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Right of Access

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will provide this information in a commonly used electronic format within 30 days of your request.

Right to Rectification

You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal data or complete any incomplete personal data we hold about you.

Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")

You have the right to request that we delete your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or when you withdraw consent.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when you contest the accuracy of the data or object to our processing.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit that data to another controller without hindrance from us.

Right to Object

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests. We will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

Right to Withdraw Consent

Where we rely on your consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that our processing of your personal data violates applicable law.

CCPA Rights (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

Right to Know

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you. This includes the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected.

Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (such as legal obligations or ongoing service provision).

Right to Correct

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing

You have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Note: Intent AI does not sell personal information.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the services.

Right to Non-Discrimination

You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your rights.

California "Do Not Sell" Disclosure

Intent AI does not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. We do not exchange personal information for monetary consideration. We share personal information with service providers only as necessary to provide our Services.

Other Jurisdictions

We also comply with privacy laws in other jurisdictions, including:

Brazil (LGPD)

Brazilian residents have rights similar to GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, and data portability.

Canada (PIPEDA)

Canadian residents have rights to access, correct, and withdraw consent for processing of personal information.

Australia (Privacy Act)

Australian residents have rights to access and correct personal information, and to make complaints about privacy breaches.

Other US States

We comply with privacy laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy legislation, providing similar rights to CCPA.

How to Exercise Your Rights

You can exercise your privacy rights in several ways:

1. Through Your Account

Many rights can be exercised directly through your account settings:

  • Access and download your data from Settings → Data Export
  • Update your personal information in Settings → Profile
  • Delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account
  • Manage marketing preferences in Settings → Notifications

2. Contact Us Directly

Submit a request via email to our Privacy Team:

Please include:

  • Your full name and email address
  • The specific right you wish to exercise
  • Any relevant details to help us locate your data
  • Proof of identity (we may request this to verify your request)

3. Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. The agent must provide:

  • Written authorization signed by you
  • Proof of the agent's identity
  • Verification that you authorized the request

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized access, we verify all requests:

  • We verify your identity by matching information you provide with data we have
  • We may ask for additional information if needed to verify your identity
  • For high-risk requests (deletion, sensitive data), we may require additional verification
  • Authorized agents must provide proof of authorization

Exceptions and Limitations

In some cases, we may not be able to fully comply with your request:

  • Contractual necessity: Data needed to provide services you've requested
  • Anonymized data: Data that cannot be linked to you
  • Third-party rights: Requests that would adversely affect others' rights

If we cannot fully comply with your request, we will explain why and what alternatives may be available.

Data Portability Format

When you request a copy of your data, we provide it in the following formats:

  • JSON: Structured data format, machine-readable
  • CSV: Tabular data, compatible with spreadsheet software
  • Original format: Audio files, images in their original format

Your export will include:

  • Account information and profile data
  • Feedback data you've collected
  • Organization and team data
  • Integration configurations
  • Activity and usage logs
